At Street Providence- Goa, we focus on rescuing, rehabilitating and restoring the lives and the dignity of the homeless and the poor across Goa, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Manipur. We run multiple centers, operate ambulances, run clinics and rely on a small yet a dedicate team to manage it all. There's a lot of data points that are critical to our operations and every department head depends on proper data flow. We tried managing all the data in physical forms and excel sheets and everything was in silos. We were in need of a robust ERP System that could help us manage the data and streamline our processes for more efficiency.
From accounting to coordinating with public; a typical day for the organizers and staff at Street Providence includes managing shelters, grants, outreach programs, volunteer and staff, capacity, beds, medicines, hospital visits and food while also managing ambulances, police, press and more. The Operations Center at Street Providence begins its day early with updates from all shelters, clinics, and field teams.
Overnight rescues, medical needs, and urgent interventions are reviewed to set the priorities for the day.
Ambulances and outreach teams are dispatched to different locations based on real-time requirements.
Department heads from shelters, medical units, logistics, and rehabilitation connect to share their daily needs and challenges.
he operations team allocates resources such as food, medicines, clothing, and manpower across all centers.
Incoming data from field teams—rescues, admissions, health updates, and documentation—is recorded and verified.
The team also handles unforeseen issues like emergencies, shortages, or new rescue information from the public or authorities. Coordination with hospitals, police stations, volunteers, and partner organizations continues throughout the day.
Afternoon hours are spent monitoring progress, following up on tasks, and planning next-day outreach and supply routes.
The day ends with a consolidated report summarizing activities, occupancy, resource usage, and key incidents across all centers and only to begin the next day with the same routine.

Its ability to streamline processes, automate workflows, and adapt to complex operational needs made it the perfect solution for achieving true efficiency and eliminating long-standing challenges.
The ERP brought all critical data into a single centralized platform, enabling every department head to update and access information seamlessly. ITK created automated modules for rescue operations, shelter management, medical tracking, rehabilitation progress, inventory flow, vehicle and ambulance monitoring, volunteer coordination, and donor documentation. The system was further strengthened with dashboards and analytics that give leadership real-time visibility into occupancy levels, emergency cases, supply shortages, case progress, and mission outcomes

Role-based access ensured data security and smooth collaboration across all units. The platform runs completely on Zoho Creator- making it scalable, mobile-friendly, and easy for field staff to use during rescues and clinic visits.
