Abhasa was born from a deeply personal realisation that India needed a space where healing meant more than treatment. It had to mean dignity, depth and human connection.I witnessed too many people suffer in silence; Too many families breaking under invisible burdens. And a system that often treated only the surface symptoms, forgetting the person within. So we created Abhasa: a space that blends modern science, psychology, ancient wisdom, and cutting-edge technology. A place where healing becomes possible clinically, emotionally, socially, and soulfully. To everyone who’s seeking help: You’re not alone.
Abhasa deals with all types of addictions and mental disorders. Being a luxury rehab center, Abhasa had to maintain high standards of counselling, diagnosis and treatment combined with bespoke facilities. Started in 2019 in India - Abhasa started with one center in Coimbatore. They were able to handle all operations from admissions to treatment to discharge with mostly manual processes.
But as we were expanding to more centers one additional centers in Coimbatore and one center in Maharashtra - we were desperately in need of technology support. So we tried with different software vendors and pre-built software’s but we could get the right comfort and fit. This was because, luxury rehab is not like the regular hospitality business and most of the software’s we explored were based on the hospitality business and we needed a solution that fits our rehab operations.
The Operations Department at Abhasa ensures that every guest’s experience is seamless, that clinical and wellness teams have what they need, and that the facility runs smoothly 24/7. This department is the silent backbone of the entire rehabilitation ecosystem. Facility Readiness & Morning Briefing, Coordinating Morning Wellness Activities, Visitor management, appointments, counselling, admissions, treatment plans, clinical workflows, HR, Purchases, billing, patient discharge. Daily Operations Coordination includes tracking attendance of clinical and wellness staff, Ensure psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors, nurses, and therapists follow the day’s schedule, Allocate treatment rooms and activity spaces, Coordinate transportation (if any guest has a hospital appointment),Handle vendor deliveries (groceries, medicines, linens).Resolve operational issues quickly:Room maintenance / Internet issues/Water/AC complaints / Guest comfort needs. The key focus is that no disruption in the therapeutic timetable. It’s a blend of hotel-level hospitality, hospital-level safety, and wellness-centre precision.
ITK built a scalable ERP on Zoho Creator covering admissions → treatment → clinical notes → purchases → discharge, integrated with Zoho Books and Zoho People.
With multiple processes scattered across Excel and standalone tools, ITK helped to define a clear phased automation roadmap. Within just 6 months of Phase 1, we achieved streamlined workflows, better operational efficiency, and improved data visibility.
While we had so many things going on with excel and standalone productivity tools, ITK clearly created a road map to building the solutions in a phased manner. So in Phase 1, we took the most important parts of business processes and started to automate them. We had the ITK team willing to travel with us and understanding our operations fully. They also suggested intelligent business processes to better our operational efficiency. After 6 months of using the Phase 1 automated business process, we see a lot of improvement in seamless connectivity and data analytics.
In the next phase, we expanded to Zoho People and Zoho Books integrating them seamlessly with our custom Zoho Creator app. With the Zoho ecosystem and ITK’s expertise—especially Ms. Sowmya’s guidance—we now have streamlined workflows across all three centers and a scalable automation framework connecting every data point.
So now after Zoho Creator, in the next phase we procured Zoho People and Zoho Books and we integrated these apps to our custom app. Thanks to Zoho ecosystem helped our journey of wellness treatment more seamless and effective. With Zoho Creator, lots of our tasks have been streamlined and simplified connecting all the 3 centers seamlessly. ITK built in modules for specific workflows thereby creating a powerful business process automation connecting all data points for us.
